Lake Arrowhead Village’s Small Business Saturday Passport shopping program starts now! It’s been a frustrating 3 months for locals and visitors at Lake Arrowhead Village. The closure of the parking structure has impacted everyone, but without a doubt, those most impacted have been our Lake Arrowhead Village Merchants. The closure of the parking structure for maintenance, during the busiest time of the year, has affected the merchants and their employees tremendously.
Thankfully, that is all in the past, and the parking structure is open and better than ever! To help the merchants and encourage residents and tourists to visit the Village, the Lake Arrowhead Village Merchants Association (LAVMA) has started their Small Business Saturday shopping program now.
Saturday, November 25, 2017 is Small Business Saturday® – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. Our local businesses are the first to help sponsor local events, local teams, local organizations. Here, as across the nation, small businesses are the backbone of our community. Instead of offering a Small Business Saturday® program just on November 25th, LAVMA is making their new Small Business Saturday® Passport Program available to all now.
How the Passport Program Works
- Pick up your Passport at any participating LAVMA member business and for every purchase you make between now and Sunday, November 26, 2017, the member business will punch your passport showing that you made a purchase.
- Turn your punched Passport in at the Lake Arrowhead Village office, located in the Executive Suites above Pendleton, by Monday, November 27, 2017 to be entered into a very special drawing for a wonderful Lake Arrowhead Village gift basket full of LAVMA member prizes.
- Two gift baskets will be awarded. One basket will go towards a random drawing from all Passports turned in. The second basket will be awarded to the Passport with the most punches on it.
- Participating businesses will have signs in their windows, table tents on their counters, and plenty of Passports to distribute.
At a time when an increasing number of consumers are opting to shop online – and are spreading their holiday shopping spending over a longer period of time than they did traditionally – many still prioritize visiting brick and mortar small businesses on Small Business Saturday – American Express
Please join our LAVMA members, please come enjoy Lake Arrowhead Village, and please pick up your Passport so you can get going on your holiday shopping as well as your everyday shopping and enter to win one of two awesome gift baskets!
